Every once in a while, we hear someone saying something like ‘I want six pack abs ‘, because they want to look like a certain star or athlete or professional wrestler. There can be many reasons that might compel you into saying something like I want six pack abs, to someone. Whatever your reasons are, your cause is not different from many others who want to get great abs. Working out in order to achieve good abs not only make your more consistent and goal-oriented, it also gives your life a new meaning. Without having a goal or aim in life means you are drifting aimlessly and have nothing to do in life. That is the worst thing that can happen to a human being. Always think ahead of time and know what you want to do in the next 5 or 10 years. Without proper aim or goal, you will not achieve anything in your life.

The reason why NASA has landed on the moon and Mars is the long term goal that was set by it decades ago. Hundreds of thousands of companies worldwide strive to achieve their targets by first setting goals for themselves and their staff. So for you, it is important that you set your goal today and then work on achieving it. I want six pack abs isn’t just a small line, it’s a goal and you need you reach that goal to look good and attractive. Look at how many guys wander around on the streets and supermarkets with overly obese bodies and bad dressing. Do you want to look like them? Or do you want to change yourself and look like a movie star with a perfect body. Not many people enjoy the luxury of being able to wear anything they want, especially not the people with overweight bodies and bulged tummies.

Make the best of your life by working out daily and keeping your body in shape. As you start achieving good abs, your body will look more ripped and stronger than ever. This is something not many succeed in achieving.

It’s not a surprise that so many readers are losing stomach fat faster than they thought possible, eating healthier (and understanding healthy food choices better), and feeling stronger with more energy… The program flat out WORKS. The Truth about Abs is authored by Mike Geary who is a personal trainer and nutritionist. I’m going to spill the beans and let you in on the secret to great abs. It starts with nutrition! So forget the crazy ab machines and routines. It’s what you put in your mouth that counts. As a physician who has reviewed hundreds of diet and weight loss programs, in addition to thousands of clinical and scientific studies, I was actually quite impressed by the nutritional information found in Truth About Abs. For the most part it was right on. There were a few inaccuracies (dairy for weight loss, soy is fattening etc) but overall I think the nutritional information was spot on and a welcome relief to a lot of the rubbish you find in many diet and weight loss books.

The real strength of Truth about Abs is the exercise and fitness section. Mike Geary knows his stuff when it comes to developing a pair of six packs in the shortest time possible using a few simple and effective routines. While I think the Truth About Abs strength is the exercise and fitness section it also points to a weakness. While the Truth About Abs has a simple meal plan outline, there are no recipes for you to follow his plan in a straight forward way at home. So while the information is sound, Mike leaves it up to you as far as implementing his dietary information.

Overall, if you’re looking for a fool-proof fitness and workout routine with some sound nutritional information I highly recommend this program.

A lot of problems arise from tummy flab for most people. It is a problem not restricted to gender, race or lifestyle and is a fairly democratic problem in that it can affect and will affect everyone. It can however be cured by better diet and exercise.

One of the better exercises to stave off tummy flab is called the crunch. It does not have the full movement as the sit up for it is only after the constriction of your ab muscles. By doing crunches straight up, from side to side will entail a whole abdominal area exercise. It is a time saver and includes a good workout for your obliques as well.

Weak backs are not an excuse for not being able to work out your abs. Some back strengthening exercise are good for your abs as well. A non moving pushup that is called the “plank” is an example. You do this by lying on your stomach you put your toes on the ground and then push yourself up on your forearms and elbows.

Side obliques can benefit from the plank exercise also. The plank exercise is done in the usual manner but there is a variation added in that one turns to the left or to the right and use only one elbow to prop him or herself up. The side of the foot holds the legs up and the position is maintained for about 30 seconds. This is a fairly stress free exercise that only requires a good sense of balance.

Weight loss and six pack abs can be such a problem for many of us that we automatically believe we have to take drastic action just to see effective weight loss results — Everyone wants to know how to lose weight get great abs using diets, pills or those weird fitness gadgets on comercials that promise fast and instant results. Want to know the secret to weight loss ? It’s simple Make measured changes each and every day and you’ll slowly lose those extra pounds. Commitment, diet, and exercise.

The key is to forget about instant results and settle in with a system of the right diet and exercise, and only then will you see results.

To drop just one pound of fat alone, you must burn on average 3500 calories over and above what you already burn doing daily activities. That is a lot of calories to try and burn in one day, and you don’t want to try this, however, by taking the necessary steps with the right diet and exercise, you too can learn how to lose weight. Each day you can determine just what needs to be carried out in order to burn or cut out those extra calories. Below is a step by step process for getting started.

Calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate). Your BMR is what your body needs in order to keep normal body functions operating like breathing and digestion. You need the minimum number of calories each day. Also Keep in mind that no calculator on this earth is going to be 100% accurate. However, your figures will be close. This is part of the process of how to lose weight and even get great six pack abs.

Calculate your activity level. There are many calorie calculators on the market. Get your hands on one and figure out how many calories you burn while sitting on the couch, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc. throughout the entire day. It helps to keep a daily activity record. If you want to know how to lose weight or how to get six pack abs, this is part of understanding the calorie intake process.

Alwyays Keep track of how many calories you consume. There are many quality guides on the market which can help with this. What you are reading is just part of it .

You can use a site like Calorie Count or a review guide on weight loss that recommends certain weight loss experts or even use a food journal to write down what you eat and drink each day. Be as accurate as possible, measuring when you need to or looking up nutritional data in individual restaurants, if you eat out.

Add up the figures. Take your BMR number, add your activity calories and then subtract your food calories from that total figure. If you’re consuming more than you’re burning, (your BMR + activity is 2000 and you’re eating 2400 calories) you’ll most certainly gain weight. If you’re burning more than you eat, you’ll definately lose weight.
